Reading has always been a HUGE passion of mine! I remember getting hooked on the Magic Treehouse series as a young girl and realizing there was a whole new world out there waiting to be explored! From mysteries to romance to finally a dive into the non-fiction world, my love for books continues to blossom each new day!
A few years ago, I used to think that non-fiction books simply weren’t made for me. I would get bored and be unable to finish a single non-fiction book, while I could literally consume a fiction book in a matter of hours! But two years ago, I decided to give non-fiction books another shot and came to the realization that I was reading non-fiction books all wrong (for me at least)! I realized that while it was easy for me to read fiction in one sitting, for me, non-fiction books are read best in small chunks over a period of a few days or even weeks. This epiphany changed my reading life – suddenly, I could enjoy non-fiction and a new love was born!
Over the past few years, I’ve read quite a few non-fiction books some of which I’ve loved which I’ll share with you today, some of which I don’t have any strong feelings for, and finally some which I positively hate. I hope that the following books which have made a positive influence on my life will be able to do the same for you, and I hope that I continue to add to this list as time goes on!
