All you need to make this is some distilled white

All you need to make this is some distilled white vinegar, water, dish soap and a spray bottle! 1:1 ratio for vinegar to water and then a tablespoon or two of dish soap. Today's hobby is knitting! This is a hobby I only picked up recently after being inspired by a video on Youtube by @Kutovakika. The project pictured here is the Saturday Brunch Sweater! I was first introduced to knitting by my grandma when I was younger - she was an avid knitter and embroiderer. I learned a bit from her but then forgot all about it. Later on in my teenage years, I took up crochet, which still remains one of my core hobbies! Coming from crochet, what I've been most surprised by is how different a knitted fabric feels - it's looser, softer, and more drapey, while crocheted items tend to be firmer and have more structure. I honestly love the feel of knitted fabric! This is my 3rd knit project and I hope I'll finish it by the time colder weather rolls around again later this year - I know wearing a sweater I made myself from scratch will make the experience extra special ❤️ Are you working on any creative projects right now? Another one of my hobbies is gaming! There is something so magical and exciting about exploring and immersing yourself in a fantasy world that is unlike anything that exists in reality...one of my favorite games ever is The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild. Nestled deep in the mountains, there's a small village in BOTW called Kakariko village - to me, it's one of the coziest and most beautiful places ever - I wish I could live in Kakariko village! One of my hobbies is playing the kalimba. I love the enchanting chimes of this instrument - it fills me with a sense of tranquility. Sometimes I like to play it before I go to sleep at night. Sometimes I try to play specific songs on it, but more often than not, I just mess around with it with no end goal in mind, no expectation that the music I produce should sound a certain way - I just let myself flow with the music, reveling in the beauty of every note. I think it's so incredibly important to have hobbies in life. Our world is based around capital and the reduction of people into objects of labor. In a world designed to rob us of our creativity and life-force, in a world which alienates us from every aspect of what it means to be human, it's life-reaffirming to spend your time pursuing creative interests. It's life-affirming to let your inner child out, to let yourself play around with your environment, the objects in them, and with your own creative spirit.
